Press conferences

Both forms of interpreting are used at press conferences – the chosen form depends on the press conference format. Simultaneous interpreting is used when there is a need to interpret into multiple languages, while press conferences interpreted into one language only usually utilise consecutive interpretation. Generally a speaker presents a prepared communiqué and then passes the microphone to an interpreter, who interprets the speaker´s words with the help of notes taken during the presentation. Questions from the audience follow this exchange. Press conferences are often recorded.

From our clients

I´ve been getting Tlumočnický servis to interpret our training programmes for a long time. Their interpreters are accurate and reliable, they know our field, and they come with their own interpreting equipment. This makes the interpreting process efficient and saves us time.
